Amazing 25% show growth enabled as landmark Gitex Shopper 2012 move to World Trade Centre Dubai!
The UAE’s market of electronics consumer is likely to reach a record breaking figure of around $3.8 billion this year and there will be maximum demand observed for the Gitex Shopper exhibition space. The organizers of the biggest consumer IT and electronics show of the region have decided to relocate the show to the World Trade Center Dubai for this year.
Apart from this relocation to a much more convenient new location in the center of the city, Gitex Shopper will be organized some time earlier than its usual dates. This year the show will be held from September 29th till October 6th 2012. As the demand of the visitors is expected to rise, there will be increased opening hours for the show. It is reported that this year show will be the best one and the largest one with around 25% increased space to accommodate the industry demand flow. There will be more than 25,000 latest products and gadgets displayed. The 95% of event floor space is already booked by some of the most leading international consumer IT electronic brands which include names like Dell, Fujitsu, Intel, Samsung, Seagate, Sanford, Nintendo, HP, Epson, HTC and Bose.
Also this year it will be easier to reach for the show as the location is central, the new Dubai World Trade Centre. The Metro Station to the venue will be dedicated to the doors of the show with some meters distance only. There is also arrangement for adequate parking space within close distance to the venue.
Senior Vice President, Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) and organizer of Gitex Shopper, Trixee Loh talking about the event says that “Gitex Shopper has gained immense success since it first began and is now moved to the famous Dubai World Trade Center to meet the demand flow. There is also a massive increase made in the floor space for this exhibition to meet the need for this event. Also the opening hours of the event are also increased to meet the expected increase in demand of incoming visitors to attend the Gitex Shopper Event. He further said that our team is making all efforts to increase and deliver valuable service.”
Every year this show attracts thousands of visitors from different parts of the world and this year this show is expected to make the biggest sale ever with exclusive special offers, deals and competitions with launch of latest products and gadgets.
Many internationally well known brands will be participating in this event this year for the first time including the famous Nestle, Toshiba, LG and Western Digital.

This year Gitex Shopper 2012 will be held from September 29th 2012 till October 6th 2012. The show opening time will be from 11:00 am till 10:00 pm from (September 29th, Saturday till October 3rd, Wednesday) and from 11:00 am till 11:00 pm (October 4th, Thursday till October 6th, Saturday). The show will remain open for long hours from 11:00 am on Fridays for the first time this year.
Gitex Shopper tickets will be available on venue and online as well via Time Out Tickets. Children under 5 years of age can enter free of charge at the show.
