You will find numerous museums in Sharjah Heritage Museum. It is located near to Sharjah Creek on Al Ayubi Road. Each of the museums displays culture and history of Sharjah.

Sharjah is considered as the cultural capital of the Arab World. There are many museums situated at Sharjah Heritage Museum which include Souq Al Arsah, Bait Al Naboodah, Al Midfaa House, Al Hisn Sharjah and Hisn Kalba. Souq Al Arsah is one of the oldest Souq of this city which still has a traditional charm. Bait Al Naboodah is also located in this heritage area which displays jewellery, artefacts and costumes of the past. You will find uniqueness in every room of this museum.

All Midfaa is a family house which is located at the back side of Souq. Al Hisn Sharjah was built by Sheikh Sultan bin Saqr Al Qassini has built this fort, there are many other traditional and cultural things which you will get to see during your tour. You must also visit Hisn Kalba Fort.

Hence Sharjah Heritage Museum is the best place to explore the past of this beautiful city. Timings of the museum are from 9 am to 1 pm and from 4 pm to 8 pm daily. On Friday the timings of museum is from 4 30 pm to 8 30 pm but museums are closed on Mondays. On Wednesday evenings only women and children are allowed to enjoy the cultural traditions in this museum.
