Lulu Island in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi is the largest city and capital of UAE. It is also termed as the cultural, traditional and historical hub of UAE. It clearly depicts Islamic culture and architecture through a number of its landmarks and activities. There are a number of beautiful mosques and other important buildings all around the city to fascinate tourists as well as local people. One of the most impressive sights in Abu Dhabi is the Lulu Island.

Lulu Island is a glorious and splendor island with immense beauty associated to the site. It is spread over a land of 1050 acres.  It is located near the famous Corniche in Abu Dhabi. This place in Abu Dhabi attracts a number of tourists and the tourists can tour the area via a boat. This island is now converted in to a comfortable and wonderful resort area which was previously a manmade island. The work there began in 1988.

The island is famous as both a commercial and residential district. It has beautiful beaches where tourists and local people can enjoy various sporting activities as well. Other facilities that you can avail at the island include two restaurants, four coffee shops, changing rooms, cafeterias, mosques for prayers and beautiful artificial lakes.

It is still under modifications and shortly many other facilities like sanctuaries will also be opened. The Lulu Island is termed as the paradise of Abu Dhabi and is surely a must visit place.
